Remove any unused files. Typically this files are temporary Internet files downloaded by the browser when it caches each page you visit for fast access later. Once you perform this action you cannot undo.



Defragment hard drive

Speed up access to data. Over time more files become fragmented. When this happens it takes longer for the comptuer to find the data because it has to skip section of the hard drive.

  • Keep your operating system with the latest updates
  • Protect your computer with an antivirus
  • Scan for viruses at least once a week depending on the computer usage.

  • Always log off before exit.
  • Don't open unexpected attachments

Detect and repair hard drive for errors

Check the integrity of the files stored on your hard drive by running the Error checking. This tool scans the hard drive looking for bad sectors. Bad sectors slow down the hard drive performance.
